I guess I could write about being a girl, or being straight, or being raised in an upper-middle class household, or not really identifying with my Puerto Rican heritage but none of those really feel like they define who I am as person. About Me!

Hey! My name is Devyn Cordero and welcome to my blog! I am currently 21 years old and a junior(?) at Rutgers. I put a question mark next to junior since I am technically supposed to be a senior but last year I had a quarter-life crisis and changed my major from bio to planning and public policy which set me back a bit. So here's a little bit about my childhood! My parents, Noelle and Joseph, were extremely young when they had me (21 and 22 respectively) so like many young couples they broke up shortly after I was born. I never remember my parents being together and to be quite honest I am kind of thankful because my parents are SO different that I cannot even imagine them being together. My dad got married shortly after and would go on to have my sisters, Marilyn and Olivia, with my step-mom, Rose.
